Dorian pushed his hand back through his hair as he made his way down the stair cases. They never failed to amuse him when he was set on being somewhere else. No matter how many years he had been in this castle, they always chose that time to confuse the ever loving hell out of him. He had already been turned around three times now and just now felt like he was making progress toward the end. It wasn’t until the door came into sight that he actually let out a tiny sigh and fist bumped himself before making a near sprint out the door. The warm weather was calling and there was only one place he felt like being on days like that.
Dorian’s feet moved him quickly toward the Quidditch pitch and it was only a matter of minutes before he actually stepped foot into the large stadium. When he first got here this was the thing he was most impressed with. Muggles…they didn’t get to see things like this growing up. So of course he had almost fainted the first time he had seen a flying broom, let alone a game played atop one. And that was when he knew that he had found the one thing that he would always be in love with. Yeah, girls and magic were nice and all. But Quidditch trumped them all. He’d even give up chocolate frogs if it meant he’d get to play on a professional team.
He smiled to himself as he entered familiar territory. This place was home to him more than anywhere else ever had been. Of course, he considered Hogwarts in general his home and he knew that he was lucky to have landed a spot here. A lot of muggle-borns didn’t and the few that did generally had to work harder to catch up and not seem totally out of the loop on everything. He had been made fun of a lot his first few years because he wasn’t familiar with regular wizarding things. Didn’t take him long to catch on though and he worked hard to keep up to date on everything he could since then.
Dorian snagged his broom and walked out to the middle of the pitch. He considered practicing hitting today but he already knew that his aim would be off and he wouldn’t be able to concentrate on it. Today was a day to just fly and let the wind wipe everything else away. It had been a while since he’d been able to do that and he loved the chance to. Dorian lifted his hands and tied his hair back swiftly, something he had become accustomed to just to keep his hair out of his eyes when he was flying. He bent down and snagged his broom, kicking off from the ground with surprising force. And then nothing else mattered, at least for the moment.

Warm weather? That always sounded like a date to Remus, whether he was alone, with girls, or with boys. The sun was out? He NEEDED to be outside. Part of that was the hyperactive nutcase inside him, but part of it was just the happiness he felt outside on the grounds. He knew these grounds ran deep in his linage. His parents met here, his grandparents died here, and he would never forget that. As his years grew shorter here, he wanted to do the best he could to get all his time here to mean something. He just wanted to mean something, and as it stood right now, he was getting his wish. He was captain and keeper. He couldn’t ask for more then, to maybe win the house cup. He’d really be remembered then, right? Oh how trivial these thoughts were in the long run, but they gave him something to do, work for. Classes sure weren’t a problem recently, he had to have something to do. Remus fidgeted through one more class, wasn’t his last technically, but he was out. He couldn’t handle it anymore, and if she headmistress had an issue, she could shove it up hers take it up with his mother (and she would probably say something similar, that was a cool thing about his mother). He dodged prefects, professors, and ghosts as he ran back to his tower. He tossed off his robes, pulled on sweats, and he changed his shoes. He looked a muggle douche who was going to beef up at the gym, but he didn’t care. He wasn’t really a douche, but he guessed he could go practice, and “beef up”. Or something. He picked up his broom, waited while he was sure the halls would be clearing, slipped back into his robes for a second, and he made a break for it. He took the stairs two at a time, and waited while things adjusted, and got to where he could get down faster. He ran, and he was outside before he knew it, he moved towards the pitch, his broom bouncing on his shoulder, and his robes billowing behind him like a bride’s dress. He wasn’t wearing a dress, but he did look funny in the sweats and muggle tennis shoes with his robes on. He looked up at the sky, nearly losing his footing as he did. He decided he wasn’t good enough to look at the pretty sky as he ran, and he looked back to where he was, he could admire the sky when he was in it. He noticed he wasn’t alone as he entered the pitch. He wanted to scoff, but he saw it wasn’t something or someone to be scoffed about. He tore off his robes like a flasher as he threw them to the ground. ”Great minds think alike!” He called, hoping to mildly startle his friend. He rolled his sleeves up, ”Wanna knock something around?” He said, his small eyes squinting, ”That sounded weird…Knock something..I don’t know, you get where I’m going; I’m not..I can’t win today, you know where I’m going in a non-sexual way.” He snorted, his mind worked faster than his mouth it seemed, today at least.[/blockquote][/size][/blockquote] outfit;; here tags;; Dorian notes;; Sorry this took so long!
